For many people, a wood burning stove just isn’t a possibility. Whether it’s because they don’t have a suitable chimney or just aren’t interested in maintaining one, we understand that they aren’t for everybody!

However, there are other options than solid fuel burning stoves – one of which is a gas stove.

Here at Direct Stoves, we stock a fantastic selection of gas stoves for conventional flues, balanced flue gas stoves and flueless gas stoves. Take a look at our picks of the best here…

    • Hi Sandra,
Gas stoves are similar to gas fires but as they heat the whole “box” up like a wood stove does they can heat the room for longer than a regular gas fire and are usually more efficient than a regular gas fire.
      Hope this helps?
      Kind regards,
