  • Delivery Info

Free 1 Man Delivery – For Full Details Please See Delivery Information

Our "Free Delivery" is a one-man service. The goods will arrive on a lorry that is about the size of a fire engine. (Please let us know in advance if you have restricted access or other local issues that could affect delivery).

The lorry has a tail lift that allows the driver to get the item(s) off the vehicle. The order will be packed and secured onto a pallet and the driver will have a pallet truck. He'll be able to wheel this as close as possible to your property. The pallet truck can only be wheeled over a finished surface so it's not possible to wheel it over a gravelled drive, steps, steep slopes for example. The pallets are normally about 1m wide so this is the minimum width gate they can fit through. Please note that the driver is not insured to unpack or carry the item(s) into your house.

Fitting Kits and Liner Packs might arrive separately by courier delivery on the same day unless specified/requested in advance. An email confirmation will be sent if this is the case.

If the goods are showing 48hr delivery, then this is the quickest time we're able to deliver these items (We do not deliver at weekends). You'll be asked to select a delivery date when purchasing the goods. Please note that if you live offshore these dates do not apply as it will take us slightly longer to get the goods to you and we will contact you directly.

Please note that it is an all-day delivery service which is generally from 9 am – 6 pm Monday to Friday. Delivery Depots, if they have the facility, will text in advance but as the vans do multiple runs a day you might not receive a text until the afternoon if this service is available.

Due to current pallet network pressures mainly due to driver shortages we cannot guarantee delivery on your chosen day but will do our best to communicate this as soon as we are made aware by the carriers.

    Two Man Delivery (£75)
For Full Details Please See Delivery Information

As the name suggests with our two-man delivery service the goods will be delivered by two men. They will carry your stove into the room of your choice (subject to any changes due to covid restrictions).

They will normally carry it up 1 flight of stairs (if it's safe to do so) but this is at their discretion so if you have a 3rd floor flat, please inform us beforehand to avoid any issues during delivery.

The two-man delivery normally takes 5-10 working days to be delivered once we receive the stock into our own warehouse, but this timescale can be dependent on where you live. We expect the lead time to extend during busier periods/later months of the year. Once the goods come into stock you will be contacted, and delivery arranged.

Please contact us directly if you wish to take advantage of our 2-man service.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE STRONGLY ADVISE THAT YOU DO NOT BOOK ANY CONTRACTORS, PLUMBER’S, OR FITTERS UNTIL YOU HAVE RECEIVED YOUR GOODS AS UNEXPECTED DELAYS CAN OCCUR.

Hi, I’m unclear on what the knob is on the side of the burner is?
Could you confirm the minimum recommended space between the side of the log burner to the non combustible wall and Do you take the measurement from the side knob or the actual flat side of the log burner itself?
    Many thanks
Question by: Dawn on 16 Jul 2023, 07:49
    Hi,

    Thank you for your enquiry.

This nob is for the riddling grate.

The distances from the side of the log burner to non combustibles is 150mm.

This is from the body of the stove and not the nob.

    Hope this helps
Answer by: Damian Todd (Admin) on 17 Jul 2023, 13:22
    Hi

    Thankyou for your enquiry.

The knob is the griddle for the ash pan. We advise the distance between the flat part of the stove to a non combustible material should be between 110mm-150mm although this is all your fitters decision.

    I hope this helps
Answer by: Lucy Riley (Admin) on 20 Jul 2023, 13:01
Please could you tell me how close to the rear wall the stove can be installed? Can it be fitted right up to the wall (assuming a top flue outlet) or does there need to be a gap to the rear? I need to know the dimension from the rear wall to the front of the stove to ensure the hearth stone is the required size.
Question by: Andrew Schofield on 30 Jan 2023, 14:18
    Hi,

    Thank you for your enquiry.

If the wall behind is non combustible you can have 100mm at the back, if it is combustible you need 600mm clearence.

    Hope this helps
Answer by: Damian Todd (Admin) on 20 Feb 2023, 11:42
Hi there. I have just purchased this stove. The x2 knobs underneath the door, I take it they are the air flow? Is fully out max air flow or fully in?
Question by: Alex Bamford on 17 Jan 2023, 19:38
    Hi,

    Thank you for your enquiry.

    This is correct.

The primary air control regulates the air entering the fire box chamber, supplying air below the
grate. This control is situated below the fire door on the left-hand side, when facing the front of the
stove. The control has an internal rotary plate with slots, housed inside the body of the appliance and is
located below the left-hand corner of the fire door assembly. Sliding the control knob to the out, as
far as it will go, achieves the fully open position

The right control is the secondary. The secondary air control regulates the air entering the fire box chamber, supplying an over draught
of air to the fuel bed, together with supplying air in front of the glass viewing panel within the door
assembly. This is known also as the air wash system.

Can you tell me the weight of the stove please?
Question by: Keith percival on 2 Nov 2022, 10:16
    Hi,

    Thank you for your enquiry.

    This stove weighs approximately 86kg.

    Hope this helps

Hi, I am looking to fit 1 of these stoves, 2 questions, are they built in the UK? And would a hearth made up of 20mm slate bedded onto 35mm of concrete be suitable? Many thanks Liam
Question by: Liam on 18 Oct 2021, 19:46
Hi there Liam thanks for getting in touch. So this stove is manufactured in China and as long as what is underneath the concrete is also a non combustible material then yes that will be absolutely fine. I hope this helps?
Answer by: Henry Lewis on 20 Oct 2021, 13:13
Another question on the controls. Is it pull to close or pull to open?
Question by: Eddie Whitehouse on 21 Nov 2020, 01:35
Hi Eddie , it's pull to open push to close. Thanks for getting in touch.
Answer by: Henry Lewis on 24 Nov 2020, 12:41
What does lifetime guarantee actually mean
Question by: Brian Doughty on 19 Nov 2020, 10:31
Hi Brian, thanks for your question. This is for the body on the stove, and doesn't include consumables incl. glass, rope and firebricks. Cheers.
Answer by: Henry Lewis on 24 Nov 2020, 11:21
Another question on the controls as no information on the controls. I note your helpful description Below of the two controls on the front but still not sure what the control on the left side of stove is for? I can see that it rotates the centre of the grate but not sure what that for?
Question by: Derek on 21 Oct 2020, 22:26
    Hi Derek,

This control is for the riddling grate, as you correctly mentioned. This basically agitates the coal, allowing for ash to pass through and drop down below, clearing the fuel bed of waste. I hope this helps to explain!
Answer by: Henry Lewis on 26 Oct 2020, 16:11
Can you please confirm how the handle on the left works (the riddler I assume) We are looking to install this in a small fireplace but if the handle pulls out to the left then it will not fit, or does it rotate.
Question by: Sophie blick on 17 Oct 2020, 15:38
Hi Sophie, thanks for getting in touch. On this product, the handle turns inwards towards the glass. I hope this helps answer your query. Cheers
