Liner Pack & Stove Kits

Direct Stoves - Stove Fitting Kits*
What's included in the fitting kit
  • 1. Black stove pipe.
  • 2. A registration plate is used to seal the chimney opening off from the room preventing dust, soot, dirt and debris falling down the chimney. It also helps to prevent a draft coming down the chimney. We supply a standard 800mm x 400mm galvanised steel register plate with all our stoves. You will simply need to cut the plate to size to fit into your chimney opening.
  • 3. We also provide you with a single stove glove that you can use for stoking the fire and adding wood without the risk of personal injury.

*Only available for wood, multifuel and gas stoves. Excluded for the following which do not need these items: inset stoves, electric stoves, flueless and balanced flue gas stoves and outdoor & garden products.

Optional Extras.
Carbon Monoxide Detector:

Due to an update to Building Regulations it is now law to have a Carbon Monoxide alarm present in any room with a solid fuel appliance:- The Building Regulations 2000 Approved Document J (2010 Edition) '2.34 Where a new or replacement fixed solid fuel appliance is installed in the dwelling, a carbon monoxide alarm should be provided in the room where the appliance is located.'

Flue Liner Packs:
The flue liner pack consists of; a flue adaptor, which connects the stove pipe to the flexible flue liner, Dura Flue flexible flue liner (this will have a relevant diameter to the outlet size of the stove and 316 Grade) cut to the required length and a pot hanger rain cap, this supports the flue liner from the top of the chimney and also acts as a bird guard and rain cap.

Stove Pipe with Door:
A stove pipe with door or access point, allows the chimney to be swept through the pipe itself.

Stove Glass Insurance:
If you select to take out our stove glass insurance this covers your stove glass for the time period you select.
If your glass breaks within that time period we will send you a replacement piece of glass regardless of the reason the glass broke. All we will ask is that you send a picture of the broken glass.
The insurance only covers you for one replacement piece of glass. It doesn't cover you if you break the replacement piece of glass.
All stove glass is covered during delivery and any glass broken in transit to you will be replaced free of charge, without affecting your stove glass insurance.

Product Questions 8

Hi there, I live in a bungalow, is there a minimum flue length (before it is out of the building) that this stove requires

Hi,

Thank you for your enquiry.

You can go out the wall at any height. You will need to use a Twin Wall flue system.

If you need help with this please contact one of our sales team.

How far above the stove do combustibles need to be, to a mantlepiece for example?
Question by: Andrew Thake on 23 Jan 2022, 12:19
Hi Andrew, thank you for getting in touch with us. I have been in touch with manufacturer on this and they have said the following :

"This is a question we are often asked. This applies to all of our freestanding stoves:

In the official testing and certification there is only a temperature safety measurement made to the Sides and Rear of a stove. There is no measurement above.

(the testing procedure for inset/cassette stoves is different and they do measure Above the stove)

We find to day that most installers will not sign off a stove if a wooden mantle or fireplace surround above the stove. The best solution is simply to remove it or replace with one of the non-combustible concrete or resin beams if you want it for effect.

Some installers look for 450mm above a stove but that is not actually a reg or anything that we say is OK. My advice is that if in doubt, remove the wooden beam.

Hope that helps."

I see you have said how far it needs to be from combustibles at the rear and sides, I am tiling my fireplace insert with stone tiles (rear and sides), and it will leave a gap with the width of 640mm, will it be ok that close to stone tiles (150mm each side) ?
Question by: Stefan on 17 Jan 2022, 15:33
Hi Stefan, from the User Guide it reads:

"When installed inside a fireplace recess (with solid non-combustibles walls) we recommend a minimum 50mm
clearance at the sides and rear of the stove to allow good air circulation and achieve best performance."

As long as it's completely tiled then you are absolutely fine with a 150mm gap! I hope this helps and thanks for getting in touch.

How much does this stove weigh? I see it has the Clearskies 5 rating, is that best for indoor air quality?
Question by: Sarah Mason-Smith on 23 Oct 2021, 08:02
Hi there Sarah, thanks for getting in touch with us.

Approx weight: 46kg

Re clearskies "All appliances that show the clearSkies mark have been independently certified by the Scheme administrator, confirming that they meet or exceed the forthcoming Ecodesign Regulations. This is based on the appliance’s independent test results for efficiency and four different types of emissions, and give the assurance that you are choosing a low emission and low carbon heating solution for your home."

I hope this helps?

How do I advise top flue when ordering a salt fire peanut 3 on line?
Question by: Emma horsley on 6 Feb 2021, 13:18
Hi there Emma, thanks for your question. Apologies, this only applies when ordering a Cooking Plate as the top flue version has a cutout for the flue pipe. I have updated the description to show this now, thank you for bringing it to our attention.

Delivery Info

Free 1 Man Delivery – For Full Details Please See Delivery Information

Our "Free Delivery" is a one-man service. The goods will arrive on a lorry that is about the size of a fire engine. (Please let us know in advance if you have restricted access or other local issues that could affect delivery).

The lorry has a tail lift that allows the driver to get the item(s) off the vehicle. The order will be packed and secured onto a pallet and the driver will have a pallet truck. He'll be able to wheel this as close as possible to your property. The pallet truck can only be wheeled over a finished surface so it's not possible to wheel it over a gravelled drive, steps, steep slopes for example. The pallets are normally about 1m wide so this is the minimum width gate they can fit through. Please note that the driver is not insured to unpack or carry the item(s) into your house.

Fitting Kits and Liner Packs might arrive separately by courier delivery on the same day unless specified/requested in advance. An email confirmation will be sent if this is the case.

If the goods are showing 48hr delivery, then this is the quickest time we're able to deliver these items (We do not deliver at weekends). You'll be asked to select a delivery date when purchasing the goods. Please note that if you live offshore these dates do not apply as it will take us slightly longer to get the goods to you and we will contact you directly.

Please note that it is an all-day delivery service which is generally from 9 am – 6 pm Monday to Friday. Delivery Depots, if they have the facility, will text in advance but as the vans do multiple runs a day you might not receive a text until the afternoon if this service is available.

Due to current pallet network pressures mainly due to driver shortages we cannot guarantee delivery on your chosen day but will do our best to communicate this as soon as we are made aware by the carriers.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE STRONGLY ADVISE THAT YOU DO NOT BOOK ANY CONTRACTORS, PLUMBER’S, OR FITTERS UNTIL YOU HAVE RECEIVED YOUR GOODS AS UNEXPECTED DELAYS CAN OCCUR.
