  • Delivery Info

Free 1 Man Delivery – For Full Details Please See Delivery Information

Our "Free Delivery" is a one-man service. The goods will arrive on a lorry that is about the size of a fire engine. (Please let us know in advance if you have restricted access or other local issues that could affect delivery).

The lorry has a tail lift that allows the driver to get the item(s) off the vehicle. The order will be packed and secured onto a pallet and the driver will have a pallet truck. He'll be able to wheel this as close as possible to your property. The pallet truck can only be wheeled over a finished surface so it's not possible to wheel it over a gravelled drive, steps, steep slopes for example. The pallets are normally about 1m wide so this is the minimum width gate they can fit through. Please note that the driver is not insured to unpack or carry the item(s) into your house.

Fitting Kits and Liner Packs might arrive separately by courier delivery on the same day unless specified/requested in advance. An email confirmation will be sent if this is the case.

If the goods are showing 48hr delivery, then this is the quickest time we're able to deliver these items (We do not deliver at weekends). You'll be asked to select a delivery date when purchasing the goods. Please note that if you live offshore these dates do not apply as it will take us slightly longer to get the goods to you and we will contact you directly.

Please note that it is an all-day delivery service which is generally from 9 am – 6 pm Monday to Friday. Delivery Depots, if they have the facility, will text in advance but as the vans do multiple runs a day you might not receive a text until the afternoon if this service is available.

Due to current pallet network pressures mainly due to driver shortages we cannot guarantee delivery on your chosen day but will do our best to communicate this as soon as we are made aware by the carriers.

    Two Man Delivery (£75)
For Full Details Please See Delivery Information

As the name suggests with our two-man delivery service the goods will be delivered by two men. They will carry your stove into the room of your choice (subject to any changes due to covid restrictions).

They will normally carry it up 1 flight of stairs (if it's safe to do so) but this is at their discretion so if you have a 3rd floor flat, please inform us beforehand to avoid any issues during delivery.

The two-man delivery normally takes 5-10 working days to be delivered once we receive the stock into our own warehouse, but this timescale can be dependent on where you live. We expect the lead time to extend during busier periods/later months of the year. Once the goods come into stock you will be contacted, and delivery arranged.

Please contact us directly if you wish to take advantage of our 2-man service.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE STRONGLY ADVISE THAT YOU DO NOT BOOK ANY CONTRACTORS, PLUMBER’S, OR FITTERS UNTIL YOU HAVE RECEIVED YOUR GOODS AS UNEXPECTED DELAYS CAN OCCUR.

can this be placed on decking
Question by: ann hilton on 8 Mar 2024, 13:05
    Hi Anne,

You can also make that position permanent and secure by simply detaching the frame and wheels. Incidentally,

Esse recommend that their Garden Stove is always positioned on a non-combustible surface, so if you're

planning on using it on decking then this must always be protected from the stove's heat.

    Hope this helps

The stove looks good. I have no option but to keep the it outside. Should I cover it when not in use, and if I cover it where can I purchase a decent cover for it?

    Many thanks.
Question by: JS on 11 Jun 2023, 19:41
Hi thank you for your enquiry, the stove is lovely and can be kept outside, most people who purchase this buy a universal cover and tie it around the bottom to keep it as protected as possible in the winter, hope this helps?

Brought one of these last year and it's been great. I also brought a cap for it as rain comes straight down the flue. What oil should I wipe it with to keep prolonge it's life?
Question by: Paul on 10 Jun 2023, 07:11
Hi thank you for your enquiry, you can use WD40 as long as you let it dry before lighting, if the stove and pipe do become heavily rusty or discoloured you can re paint with STOVE BRIGHT HTP FLAT BLACK 6304400ml Aerosol

Planning using fire under wooden gazebo, does much smoke escape from lid covering grill while in closed position and do you also supply flue extentions?
Question by: Allan Mair on 14 Nov 2022, 12:04
    Hi,

Thanks for your enquiry. You will get some smoke because it isn't a air tight seal but most of the smoke will go up the flue.
We can get an extension from Esse.

    Kind Regards
Answer by: Damian Todd (Admin) on 16 Nov 2022, 14:54
Would the manufacturor recommend taking the outdoor Esse stove inside during the winter?
Question by: Lesley on 17 May 2022, 07:52
Hi Lesley, the best option would be to buy a cover for it (a generic one of the right size off the internet would do) - you could leave it in a shed if possible and it does have wheels to move it inside if you wanted. However it is an outdoor stove and so it is ok outside - but if the weather is bad it's not a bad idea to move it inside if you can. I hope this helps!

Question by: Tina Heath on 19 Apr 2022, 10:57
Hi Tina, thank you for getting in touch with us! I got in touch with the manufacturer on this.

    And they said the following:

    The door aperture is 32 x 23
    The grill is 30 x 34

    I hope this helps?
