Direct Stoves - Stove Fitting Kits* What's included in the fitting kit
1. Black stove pipe.
2. A registration plate is used to seal the chimney opening off from the room preventing dust, soot, dirt and debris falling down the chimney. It also helps to prevent a draft coming down the chimney. We supply a standard 800mm x 400mm galvanised steel register plate with all our stoves. You will simply need to cut the plate to size to fit into your chimney opening.
3. We also provide you with a single stove glove that you can use for stoking the fire and adding wood without the risk of personal injury.
*Only available for wood, multifuel and gas stoves. Excluded for the following which do not need these items: inset stoves, electric stoves, flueless and balanced flue gas stoves and outdoor & garden products. Optional Extras.
Carbon Monoxide Detector:
Due to an update to Building Regulations it is now law to have a Carbon Monoxide alarm present in any room with a solid fuel appliance:- The Building Regulations 2000 Approved Document J (2010 Edition) '2.34 Where a new or replacement fixed solid fuel appliance is installed in the dwelling, a carbon monoxide alarm should be provided in the room where the appliance is located.'
Flue Liner Packs:
The flue liner pack consists of; a flue adaptor, which connects the stove pipe to the flexible flue liner, Dura Flue flexible flue liner (this will have a relevant diameter to the outlet size of the stove and 316 Grade) cut to the required length and a pot hanger rain cap, this supports the flue liner from the top of the chimney and also acts as a bird guard and rain cap.
Stove Pipe with Door:
A stove pipe with door or access point, allows the chimney to be swept through the pipe itself.
Firewood Starter Bundle
Our Firewood Starter Bundle contains all you need for your first fire in your new stove. 1 box of kiln dried logs with a moisture content of less than 20% and Woodsure Ready to Burn certified. This is UK sourced wood from sustainable forestry. The wood is pine. 1 bag of kindling and a pack of 20 natural wood eco firelighters.
Please make the relevant selection above when placing your order if you require any of these parts and also select whether or not you require a Carbon Monoxide alarm sending out with your order. Please note that if these parts aren't selected with your order we can't send them for free after your order has been delivered.
Our "Free Delivery" is a one-man service. The goods will arrive on a lorry that is about the size of a fire engine. (Please let us know in advance if you have restricted access or other local issues that could affect delivery).
The lorry has a tail lift that allows the driver to get the item(s) off the vehicle. The order will be packed and secured onto a pallet and the driver will have a pallet truck. He'll be able to wheel this as close as possible to your property. The pallet truck can only be wheeled over a finished surface so it's not possible to wheel it over a gravelled drive, steps, steep slopes for example. The pallets are normally about 1m wide so this is the minimum width gate they can fit through. Please note that the driver is not insured to unpack or carry the item(s) into your house.
Fitting Kits and Liner Packs might arrive separately by courier delivery on the same day unless specified/requested in advance. An email confirmation will be sent if this is the case.
If the goods are showing 48hr delivery, then this is the quickest time we're able to deliver these items (We do not deliver at weekends). You'll be asked to select a delivery date when purchasing the goods. Please note that if you live offshore these dates do not apply as it will take us slightly longer to get the goods to you and we will contact you directly.
Please note that it is an all-day delivery service which is generally from 9 am – 6 pm Monday to Friday. Delivery Depots, if they have the facility, will text in advance but as the vans do multiple runs a day you might not receive a text until the afternoon if this service is available.
Due to current pallet network pressures mainly due to driver shortages we cannot guarantee delivery on your chosen day but will do our best to communicate this as soon as we are made aware by the carriers.
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE STRONGLY ADVISE THAT YOU DO NOT BOOK ANY CONTRACTORS, PLUMBER’S, OR FITTERS UNTIL YOU HAVE RECEIVED YOUR GOODS AS UNEXPECTED DELAYS CAN OCCUR.
Hello. Is there any way the rate of burn can be controlled ? Could the fire stay in over night in the Morso4043 wood burning stove?
Question by: Sally Slee on 11 Feb 2023, 17:34
We would strongly recommend that you do not leave your stove alit at night. It
harms the environment and constitutes very poor use of the wood as the gases
in the wood do not ignite at the low temperature, but settle as soot (unburned
gases) in the chimney and stove. Extreme conditions, such as poor draught in the
chimney, large quantities of wood or wet wood, may in the worst-case scenario
cause an explosive ignition. We hope this helps.

Purchased a log burner back in 2013, but only started using it, in 2014. We have only used it about 20 times since then and when I went to use it last week, the handle became very loose. On closer inspection, the bottom bolt, had in fact, sheered off. The top bolt that kept the handle onto the door had bent. Managed to get both bolts out of the handle, but now I can't find anyone to replace/ repair the handle. Do you have any engineers here in N Ireland that I could contact and hopefully repair my log burner. Many thanks.

Hi Mike, thanks for contacting us. I would recommend either contacting Morsoe directly via -
Hi I was just wondering what the stuff on the inside of the stove is made of as it looks like wood and I was wondering if I need to take it out before burning wood in the stove
Question by: Brian Lewis on 5 Aug 2021, 11:05
Hi Brian, thanks for getting in touch. What is likely in the stove are firebricks, which are usually made from vermiculite. These should not be taken out. For further information before lighting please always refer to the user guide. I hope this helps?
