Direct Stoves - Stove Fitting Kits*
What's included in the fitting kit
    • 1. Black stove pipe.
    • 2. A registration plate is used to seal the chimney opening off from the room preventing dust, soot, dirt and debris falling down the chimney. It also helps to prevent a draft coming down the chimney. We supply a standard 800mm x 400mm galvanised steel register plate with all our stoves. You will simply need to cut the plate to size to fit into your chimney opening.
    • 3. We also provide you with a single stove glove that you can use for stoking the fire and adding wood without the risk of personal injury.

*Only available for wood, multifuel and gas stoves. Excluded for the following which do not need these items: inset stoves, electric stoves, flueless and balanced flue gas stoves and outdoor & garden products.

    Optional Extras.
    Carbon Monoxide Detector:

Due to an update to Building Regulations it is now law to have a Carbon Monoxide alarm present in any room with a solid fuel appliance:- The Building Regulations 2000 Approved Document J (2010 Edition) '2.34 Where a new or replacement fixed solid fuel appliance is installed in the dwelling, a carbon monoxide alarm should be provided in the room where the appliance is located.'

    Flue Liner Packs:
The flue liner pack consists of; a flue adaptor, which connects the stove pipe to the flexible flue liner, Dura Flue flexible flue liner (this will have a relevant diameter to the outlet size of the stove and 316 Grade) cut to the required length and a pot hanger rain cap, this supports the flue liner from the top of the chimney and also acts as a bird guard and rain cap.

    Stove Pipe with Door:
A stove pipe with door or access point, allows the chimney to be swept through the pipe itself.

  • Delivery Info

Free 1 Man Delivery – For Full Details Please See Delivery Information

Our "Free Delivery" is a one-man service. The goods will arrive on a lorry that is about the size of a fire engine. (Please let us know in advance if you have restricted access or other local issues that could affect delivery).

The lorry has a tail lift that allows the driver to get the item(s) off the vehicle. The order will be packed and secured onto a pallet and the driver will have a pallet truck. He'll be able to wheel this as close as possible to your property. The pallet truck can only be wheeled over a finished surface so it's not possible to wheel it over a gravelled drive, steps, steep slopes for example. The pallets are normally about 1m wide so this is the minimum width gate they can fit through. Please note that the driver is not insured to unpack or carry the item(s) into your house.

Fitting Kits and Liner Packs might arrive separately by courier delivery on the same day unless specified/requested in advance. An email confirmation will be sent if this is the case.

If the goods are showing 48hr delivery, then this is the quickest time we're able to deliver these items (We do not deliver at weekends). You'll be asked to select a delivery date when purchasing the goods. Please note that if you live offshore these dates do not apply as it will take us slightly longer to get the goods to you and we will contact you directly.

Please note that it is an all-day delivery service which is generally from 9 am – 6 pm Monday to Friday. Delivery Depots, if they have the facility, will text in advance but as the vans do multiple runs a day you might not receive a text until the afternoon if this service is available.

Due to current pallet network pressures mainly due to driver shortages we cannot guarantee delivery on your chosen day but will do our best to communicate this as soon as we are made aware by the carriers.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE STRONGLY ADVISE THAT YOU DO NOT BOOK ANY CONTRACTORS, PLUMBER’S, OR FITTERS UNTIL YOU HAVE RECEIVED YOUR GOODS AS UNEXPECTED DELAYS CAN OCCUR.

I don't have a chimney, could I build a fake fireplace to house this in to hide the pipe work going to the outside of thw house?
Question by: Mark on 3 Dec 2025, 08:06
    Hi Mark,

You could in theory have a false chimney breast constructed out of metal studwork and heatproof boarding.

The stove would then require a twin wall flue system
Answer by: Jack on 3 Dec 2025, 11:33
Can i remove the multifuel grate from this burner when only burning wood? If so are there any changes needed in the fire bricks? Even when all are controls are closed down logs typically last 1 hour when up to temperature.
Question by: Scott on 28 Oct 2025, 10:35
    Hi Scott,

This model has a fixed multifuel grate as opposed to being convertible between wood burning and multifuel configurations, so you would need to adjust the air controls depending upon what is being burned,

Certain other stoves are purchased as wood burning only as standard with an optional multifuel kit, in which case the grate and ash pan are removeable for burning on a vermiculite base
Answer by: Jack on 29 Oct 2025, 15:56
Hi - does this stove allow for grate height adjustment depending on which fuel type you're burning? My understanding is that smokeless coal requires a larger air gap underneath so if a stove has a fixed grate height, allowing for a smokeless fuel burring option, then when wood is being burned it will burn too quickly.
Question by: Richard on 23 Oct 2025, 10:53
    Hi Richard,

This is a multifuel stove as standard, as opposed to certain other models which may be wood burning with an optional multifuel kit,

As such, this will include a fixed grate and ash pan.

You are correct that logs will typically burn quicker on a multifuel stove than a wood burning appliance, given that logs prefer to sit on their own ash as they burn down, which won't be the case in a multifuel appliance where much of the ash falls through the grate into a removeable pan.

You can however adjust the air controls to optimize burning logs on this stove as opposed to smokeless fuels or vice versa. There will be instructions provided with the stove upon delivery insofar as recommended adjustments to the air controls depending on the fuel type

what size does opening need to be for this fire
Question by: anne watson on 9 Oct 2023, 19:45
    Hi,

    Thank you for your enquiry.

If the chamber is combustible, the opening needs to be 1635mm wide, 1133mm deep and 801 high.

If the chamber is non-combustible, it needs to be 650mm wide, 738mm high and 383 deep.

    Hope this helps

Do these need to have a flue liner
Question by: David on 22 Jan 2023, 17:13
    Hi,

    Thank you for your enquiry.

We always advise that you install a stove with a liner.

If you get an installer to check the chimney and if it is ok and he is happy to install without a liner, that is fine to do but the fitter has the last say.

    Hope this helps

Tertiary air control - is it open while pushed in or pulled out?
Secondary air control - is open when control is to the left or right

    Many thanks
Question by: Cath Wright on 1 Nov 2022, 18:45
    Hi,

    Thank you for your enquiry.

    According to the manufacturer:

The primary is the circular control on the front of the door. Right is open.

The secondary is at the top of the door and right is open.

The tertiary is underneath the door and right is open.

    Hope this helps
