You will simply need to cut the plate to size to fit into your chimney opening.
    • 3. We also provide you with a single stove glove that you can use for stoking the fire and adding wood without the risk of personal injury.

*Excludes electric stoves, flueless and balanced flue gas stoves - as these are not required.

    Optional Extras.

    Carbon Monoxide Detector:

Due to an update to Building Regulations it is now law to have a Carbon Monoxide alarm present in any room with a solid fuel appliance:- The Building Regulations 2000 Approved Document J (2010 Edition) '2.34 Where a new or replacement fixed solid fuel appliance is installed in the dwelling, a carbon monoxide alarm should be provided in the room where the appliance is located.'

    Flue Liner Packs:

The flue liner pack consists of; a nose cone, to easily manoeuvre the flue liner into place, a flue adaptor, which connects the stove pipe to the flexible flue liner, Dura Flue flexible flue liner (this is 6" in diameter and 316 Grade) cut to the required length and a 6" pot hanger rain cap, this supports the flue liner from the top of the chimney and also acts as a bird guard and rain cap.

    Stove Pipe with Door:

A stove pipe with door or access point, allows the chimney to be swept through the pipe itself.

    Stove Glass Insurance:

If you select to take out our stove glass insurance this covers your stove glass for the time period you select. If your glass breaks within that time period we will send you a replacement piece of glass regardless of the reason the glass broke. All we will ask is that you send a picture of the broken glass.
The insurance only covers you for one replacement piece of glass. It doesn't cover you if you break the replacement piece of glass.
All stove glass is covered during delivery and any glass broken in transit to you will be replaced free of charge, without affecting your stove glass insurance.

Please make the relevant selection above when placing your order if you require any of these parts and also select whether or not you require a Carbon Monoxide alarm sending out with your order. Please note that if these parts aren't selected with your order we can't send them for free after your order has been delivered.

  • Delivery Info
    Free 1 Man Delivery

Our "Free Delivery" is a one man service. The goods will arrive on a lorry that is about the size of a fire engine. (Please let us know in advance if you have restricted access.).

The lorry has a tail lift that allows the driver to get the stove/oven off the vehicle, the stove/oven will be packed on a pallet and the driver will have a pallet truck.

He'll be able wheel this as close as possible to your property, if you have a garage he'll be able to wheel it into there for you.

The pallet truck can only be wheeled over a finished surface so it's not possible to wheel it over a gravelled drive nor is it possible to wheel up or down steps.

The pallets are normally about a 1m wide so this is the minimum width gate they can fit through. Please note that the driver is not insured to unpack or carry the stove/oven into your house.

If the goods are showing 24hr or 48hr delivery then this is the quickest time we're able to deliver these items. You'll be asked to select your a delivery date when purchasing the goods.

Please note that it is an all day delivery.

    Two Man Delivery (£60)

As the name suggests with our two man delivery service the goods will be delivered by two men. They will carry your stove into the room of your choice where possible. If the hallway is to narrow or they feel that they can’t fit it through the doorway safely they might not be able to get it into the room.

They will normally carry it up 1 flight of stairs (if it's safe to do so) but this is at their discretion so if you have a 3rd floor flat please inform us before hand to avoid any issues during delivery.

The two man delivery normally take 5 - 10 working days to be delivered from dispatch. Once the goods are in stock you will be contacted and delivery arranged.

Hi can you tell me if you can sweep the flue pipe annually from inside the Hamlet Solution 5 Widescreen stove. Kind regards, Beverley
    Hi Beverley,
    Thank you for your question.
You should have your stove & chimney swept at least once a year.
If your Hamlet Solution 5 widescreen stove is fitted with the flue pipe exiting the stove from the top and connected to a chimney liner, you can definitely sweep the chimney through the stove.
Your sweep just needs to remove the top baffle plate to get access to the chimney.

If the stove is fitted with a rear exit flue, it is usually best to have a T-piece pipe with a removable soot door in it, to enable chimney sweeping.
    Hope this helps?

    Hi Matt,
    Thank you for your question.
The Hamlet Solution widescreen is only available in black finish.

Could you please tell me what I can burn other than wood. Can I use smokeless coal. Thank you
    Hi Christine,
    Thank you for your question.
The Hamlet Solution 5 widescreen is a multifuel stove with a riddling grate, you can burn wood and smokeless coal or smokeless coal briquettes. You can also use coffee logs and manufactured logs.
A full list of all approved fuels can be found on the Defra website here -

Though we must say the flame patterns from wood burning look much prettier.

Can you install a log burner if you don't have a chimney
    Hi Martin,
    Thank you for your question.
The short answer is yes, you can have a wood burner even if you don't have a chimney.
We can supply a "Twin wall" prefabricated flue system that works instead of a chimney for rooms or homes without them.
It is a modular system that clips together, available in black or stainless steel finish.
I'll email you our flue design sheet that shows how they are built and gives 4 popular options.
If you are interested in having a stove fitted, return the completed sheet to us and our stove team will provide you with an accurate Twinwall quote.

Hi, I am considering to buy and install the Hamlet 5 solution widescreen. I undrstand that a heatshield could be added to this stove. Would the 300mm distance at the back will still apply if the heatshield is added or would it be halved to 150mm? Also please advise what thickness hearth will be required for this stove. Many thanks, Mo
    Hi M,
    Thank you for your question.
The Hamlet Solution 5 Widescreen stove can be installed on a 12mm decorative hearth.

Arada don't make a heatshield for this stove.
You would have to follow the rules set out in the Building regulations Part J document for combustion appliances.
The 300mm is the distance to combustible materials, this can be lessened by lining the fireplace with a noncombustible material such as a chamber liner, fire proof tiles or using a suitable fire proof board like Hardybacker or Knauf.
    Hope this helps?

Do I need a room vent for solution 5
    Hi Michael,
    Thank you for your question.
The Hamlet Solution 5 Widescreen is a 5kW stove so if your property was built before 2008 you shouldn't need any additional vents adding.

If the house was built after 2008 and has an air permeability of less than 5.0m³/(h.m²) you will need an air vent.

We recommend getting your Hetas installer to survey the property, they will be able to recommend all you need for the install.
    Hope this helps?

Hi, please could you tell what distance needs to be left around the stove when the materials are fire retardant? Thank you for your time Tim
    Hi Tim,
    Thank you for your question.
The minimum distances around the Hamlet Solution 5 Widescreen stove to non-combustible materials are 100mm top, sides and rear.
Please be aware that fire retardant does not mean non-combustible, Brick, stone, concrete and products labelled A1 fire rated are non-combustible.
Any thing else is classed as combustible (incuding plaster) and you must adhere to the non-combustible distances in this case. 300mm side and rear and 380mm top.
    Hope this helps?

Hi I am confused about the leg/stand option. Are the measurements given with or without this and is the picture shown with the stand? Thank you
    Hi Jo,
    Thank you for your question.
The dimensions and images given are for the freestanding stove without leg/stand options ("Stand Not Required")
    Height: 600mm (23 5/8 inches)
    Width: 541mm (21 5/16 inches)
    Depth: 365mm (14 3/8 inches)

The low stand would increase the height to 736mm and the log store stand increases the height to 968mm.

As the Solution 5 widescreen is a fairly new model we haven't received any images with the stands included yet.

The stands do not affect the use of the stove and are an option.
    Hope this helps?

Hi I am currently researching stoves and assumed cast iritwoulf be more durable. Do the steal ones last as long ?
    Hi Louise,
    Thank you for your question.
The only difference is cast iron stoves typically take longer to heat up, but they retain their heat longer after the fire has gone out.
Steel stoves are just as durable as cast iron and both will last for a long time when used correctly.
Buying a reputable brand is key; this Arada Hamlet Solution stove has a 10-year guarantee on the steel body.
