Liner Pack & Stove Kits

Direct Stoves - Stove Fitting Kits*
What's included in the fitting kit
  • 1. Black stove pipe.
  • 2. A registration plate is used to seal the chimney opening off from the room preventing dust, soot, dirt and debris falling down the chimney. It also helps to prevent a draft coming down the chimney. We supply a standard 800mm x 400mm galvanised steel register plate with all our stoves. You will simply need to cut the plate to size to fit into your chimney opening.
  • 3. We also provide you with a single stove glove that you can use for stoking the fire and adding wood without the risk of personal injury.

*Only available for wood, multifuel and gas stoves. Excluded for the following which do not need these items: inset stoves, electric stoves, flueless and balanced flue gas stoves and outdoor & garden products.

Optional Extras.
Carbon Monoxide Detector:

Due to an update to Building Regulations it is now law to have a Carbon Monoxide alarm present in any room with a solid fuel appliance:- The Building Regulations 2000 Approved Document J (2010 Edition) '2.34 Where a new or replacement fixed solid fuel appliance is installed in the dwelling, a carbon monoxide alarm should be provided in the room where the appliance is located.'

Flue Liner Packs:
The flue liner pack consists of; a flue adaptor, which connects the stove pipe to the flexible flue liner, Dura Flue flexible flue liner (this will have a relevant diameter to the outlet size of the stove and 316 Grade) cut to the required length and a pot hanger rain cap, this supports the flue liner from the top of the chimney and also acts as a bird guard and rain cap.

Stove Pipe with Door:
A stove pipe with door or access point, allows the chimney to be swept through the pipe itself.

Stove Glass Insurance:
If you select to take out our stove glass insurance this covers your stove glass for the time period you select.
If your glass breaks within that time period we will send you a replacement piece of glass regardless of the reason the glass broke. All we will ask is that you send a picture of the broken glass.
The insurance only covers you for one replacement piece of glass. It doesn't cover you if you break the replacement piece of glass.
All stove glass is covered during delivery and any glass broken in transit to you will be replaced free of charge, without affecting your stove glass insurance.

Firewood Starter Bundle

Our Firewood Starter Bundle contains all you need for your first fire in your new stove.
1 box of kiln dried logs with a moisture content of less than 20% and Woodsure Ready to Burn certified.
This is UK sourced wood from sustainable forestry. The wood is pine.
1 bag of kindling and a pack of 20 natural wood eco firelighters.

Please make the relevant selection above when placing your order if you require any of these parts and also select whether or not you require a Carbon Monoxide alarm sending out with your order. Please note that if these parts aren't selected with your order we can't send them for free after your order has been delivered.

Product Questions 5

What is the minimum distance allowed to non combustables on the sides the back and the top thanks
Question by: Guy on 25 Jul 2023, 13:57
Hi, thank you for your enquiry.
When installed the appliance requires air flow around it to enable the heat to disperse into the room. The recommended distances to non combustibles are as follows:
Rear 100mm could be reduced to 50mm
Sides 150mm
Top 300mm could be reduced to 200mm
hope this helps?

Hi

How easy is it to clean the ash out of this stove

Thanks

Dave
Question by: David Hallam on 12 Aug 2021, 09:58
Hi Dave, thank you very much for getting in touch with us. This is the information that is given in the Stove User Guide:

ASH REMOVAL

The level of ash should not be allowed to build up to the level of the grate. If the level of ash becomes too high the air through the grate will become restricted causing the grate to overheat and preventing the fuel from burning efficiently

CLEANING THE STOVE

The stove should only be cleaned when it is cold. The exterior can be dusted with a firm brush. Do not use a cloth, as this will drag on the paint finish leaving lint on the surface.

From time to time it may be necessary to renovate the exterior by repainting. High temperature stove paints in aerosol form are available from your stove dealer. Do not use this form of paint until the stove is cold and always read the instructions on the container before starting to paint.

The door glass is made of a special heat resisting ceramic and may be cleaned when cold with proprietary glass cleaning liquids and a dry cloth.

I hope this helps?

Delivery Info

Free 1 Man Delivery – For Full Details Please See Delivery Information

Our "Free Delivery" is a one-man service. The goods will arrive on a lorry that is about the size of a fire engine. (Please let us know in advance if you have restricted access or other local issues that could affect delivery).

The lorry has a tail lift that allows the driver to get the item(s) off the vehicle. The order will be packed and secured onto a pallet and the driver will have a pallet truck. He'll be able to wheel this as close as possible to your property. The pallet truck can only be wheeled over a finished surface so it's not possible to wheel it over a gravelled drive, steps, steep slopes for example. The pallets are normally about 1m wide so this is the minimum width gate they can fit through. Please note that the driver is not insured to unpack or carry the item(s) into your house.

Fitting Kits and Liner Packs might arrive separately by courier delivery on the same day unless specified/requested in advance. An email confirmation will be sent if this is the case.

If the goods are showing 48hr delivery, then this is the quickest time we're able to deliver these items (We do not deliver at weekends). You'll be asked to select a delivery date when purchasing the goods. Please note that if you live offshore these dates do not apply as it will take us slightly longer to get the goods to you and we will contact you directly.

Please note that it is an all-day delivery service which is generally from 9 am – 6 pm Monday to Friday. Delivery Depots, if they have the facility, will text in advance but as the vans do multiple runs a day you might not receive a text until the afternoon if this service is available.

Due to current pallet network pressures mainly due to driver shortages we cannot guarantee delivery on your chosen day but will do our best to communicate this as soon as we are made aware by the carriers.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE STRONGLY ADVISE THAT YOU DO NOT BOOK ANY CONTRACTORS, PLUMBER’S, OR FITTERS UNTIL YOU HAVE RECEIVED YOUR GOODS AS UNEXPECTED DELAYS CAN OCCUR.
