    A 90 Degree tee piece is used when exiting a stove horizontally to turn the pipe from horizontal to vertical whilst leaving an access so you can sweep the flue system.

    Can the kit be used to convert a vertical outlet on top of a stove into a horizontal outlet to run through an external wall, then turn the lined flue up the wall?

    Hi Gareth,

    We would not recommend this use of the tee piece. This is designed to come horizontally off of a stove's rear outlet, with access on the bend into a vertical length.

    If coming off of a stove's top outlet and then going through an external wall with twin wall insulated flue, you would only be able to run through the wall at a 45-degree angle.

    We would therefore suggest a 45 bend in either single or twin wall depending upon how you are designing your flue system. On the outside wall, you would then want a 135-degree tee with soot collector to run into the straight length up the side of the property:
