    What's included in the offer:

    • 1. Black stove pipe. 
    • 2. A registration plate is used to seal the chimney opening off from the room preventing dust, soot, dirt and debris falling down the chimney. It also helps to prevent a draft coming down the chimney. We supply a standard 1000mm x 500mm galvanised steel register plate with all our stoves. You will simply need to cut the plate to size to fit into your chimney opening.
    • 3. We also provide you with a single stove glove that you can use for stoking the fire and adding wood without the risk of personal injury.


    *Excludes electric stoves, flueless and balanced flue gas stoves - as these are not required.

    Carbon Monoxide Detector:


    Due to an update to Building Regulations it is now law to have a Carbon Monoxide alarm present in any room with a solid fuel appliance:- The Building Regulations 2000 Approved Document J (2010 Edition) '2.34 Where a new or replacement fixed solid fuel appliance is installed in the dwelling, a carbon monoxide alarm should be provided in the room where the appliance is located.' 


     
     


    Flue Liner Packs:


    The flue liner pack consists of a flue adaptor which connects the stove pipe to the flexible flue liner, Dura Flue flexible flue liner (this is 6" in diameter and 316 Grade) cut to the required length and a 6" pot hanger rain cap this supports the flue liner from the top of the chimney and also acts as a bird guard and rain cap.

    A stove pipe with door or access point, allows the chimney to be swept through the pipe itself.  

     

     

     


    Stove Glass Insurance:


    If you select to take out our stove glass insurance this covers your stove glass for the time period you select. If your glass breaks within that time period we will send you a replacement piece of glass regardless of the reason the glass broke. All we will ask is that you send a picture of the broken glass.
    The insurance only covers you for one replacement piece of glass. It doesn't cover you if you break the replacement piece of glass.
    All stove glass is covered during delivery and any glass broken in transit to you will be replaced free of charge, without affecting your stove glass insurance.

K believe there is a new version with remote control trolley and new EPC regulations that are due from Jan '18?? If you could kindly respond if this is the latest model that would be great.     Thank you for your question.
    8th January 2018.
    We have an advice notice on the product page for the Broseley Winchester electric stove that states there will be a 3 -4 week delay for orders of this stove.
    This is to allow the manufacturers to get all the new updated stoves on the market.
    We have been informed that the new versions which comply with Lot 20 of the European Ecodesign regulations will be available from late January onwards. We have no stock of the older versions of this stove.

    Thank you for your question.
    The Broseley Winchester electric stove makes virtually no noise when on flame picture only setting.
    When in heating mode it makes only as much noise as a normal electric fan heater.

    Thank you for your question.
    The Broseley Winchester Electric Stove does not have opti-mist. The Winchester is a cast iron stove and constant water vapour generation within the body would lead to rust damage.
    The Winchester comes with coals and logs so you can build your fire whichever way you choose.
    The optional 125mm (5inch) flue spigot is the connecting ring on the top of the stove. You attach your own flue pipe to this for an authentic stove look.
    We sell suitable stove pipes in various lengths, the longest single piece is 1 metre but they do interlock so you could add more if needed.

    Thank you for your question.
    The Broseley Winchester Electric model is quite a popular choice. We have sold 9 this year and have had no complaints from the customers.
    It is a cast iron stove body with an electric fan heater and realistic flame patterns. All the looks but none of the mess associated with a real wood burner.
    It is quite expensive compared to some other models we sell, but the cheaper ones are not made of cast iron, some are made from MDF.
    As with any fan heater it should only be used as a secondary heat source.
    I did a search online for other reviews, unfortunately, there aren't many, one thing that puts people off is the lack of a remote control option.

    Who is eligible to apply for finance?

    Finance is available on orders of £250 or more, placed on our website. This amount includes any additional services and delivery options selected, however does not take into account any promotions, such as cashback.

    You'll need to be:

    • 18 years or older.
    • A UK resident for 3 years or more/Permanent UK resident.
    • Able to make regular repayments by Direct Debit.
    • In regular employment (minimum of 16 hours per week) including self-employment, or in a permanent residence with your spouse/partner who's in regular employment*
    • Have a debit card or credit card in your name and registered to your address and have a bank or building society current account.

       

    Other conditions may apply and we cannot guarantee that your application will be accepted.

    * If you are retired and receive a pension, or registered disabled and unable to work, V12 Retail Finance may ask for proof of sufficient income.

    How long will it take to apply?

    You should get an instant answer on whether your application for finance has been successful. In some cases, V12 – our 3rd party financial services provider - will need to look at the application in more detail before making their decision.

    What do I need to apply?

    What happens if my application is turned down?

    Applications may not be accepted for a number of reasons, including mis-typed information, or not meeting the specified requirements. Please note that other conditions may apply and we cannot guarantee that your application will be accepted.

    If your application isn't successful, you can still purchase the item in full via PayPal or with a valid credit or debit card. If your application is declined, it’s usually for one of the following reasons:

    • you do not meet the eligibility criteria;
    • adverse credit reference agency information;
    • your credit score;
    • you are considered to be overcommitted financially; or
    • your existing account performance with other lenders.
