Description

Looking for a stunning electric stove that exudes classic charm with subtle contemporary details? Look no further than the Broseley Canterbury Electric Stove. Its timeless design features intricate pattern-work and subtle lines, while the cast iron construction adds durability and longevity. Plus, with a range of door options available, you can customise your Canterbury stove to perfectly match your home décor.

But what really sets the Broseley Canterbury apart is its versatility. Thanks to its narrow profile, it can fit into even the shallowest of fireplaces, making it an excellent choice for homes where space is at a premium. And with the option to choose between all logs, all coal, or a mix of both, you can tailor the stove to your exact preferences.

In addition to its attractive design, the Broseley Canterbury boasts a range of features that make it a top-performing electric stove. The 'Flame Only' setting allows you to enjoy the ambiance of a roaring fire without any heat output, while the 1 and 2kW heat settings ensure that your room is always comfortable, whatever the weather. And with a concealed control panel located behind the ash door and a remote control included, you can easily adjust the temperature to your liking without disrupting the cosy atmosphere.

  • Cast iron construction in Metallic Black finish
  • Supplied with log and coal effect
  • 'Flame Only' setting
  • 1 and 2kW heat output
  • Optional door designs
  • Thermostatic control
  • Concealed control panel behind ash door
  • Remote controlled

How much does it cost to run this appliance
Question by: David Penn on 18 Jan 2023, 16:21
Hi,

Thank you for your enquiry.

This uses 2 kw per hour, times that by the kw per hour rate your electric company charges and that will be how much it costs to run.

Hope this helps
Answer by: Damian Todd (Admin) on 20 Jan 2023, 15:13
Hello. Please could you advise if the Canterbury is hot to touch when on? Thank you.
Question by: Laura Erskine on 19 Dec 2021, 08:18
Hi there Laura, thank you for getting in touch. Yes, any stove that gives out heat will be hot to touch. Thanks.

Could you advise me of the sound (db level) when running the flame effect only. Thank you
Question by: Ann Westley on 21 Nov 2021, 17:25
Hi Ann, thanks for getting in touch.

The stoves have a fan which will make some noise, however the noise is not hugely audible, but like any fan there will be some noise. This will be approximately 44 decibels, which is louder than a library (40 decibels), but quieter than quiet conversation (50 decibels) according to official statistics. I hope this helps!

Question by: Wynn on 8 May 2021, 15:46

Can this electric fire be placed on a wooden hearth or does it have to be stone or metal?

Thank you
Question by: jane lyons on 18 Apr 2021, 22:44
Hi there Jane, it says in the User Guide

"Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked."

"Do not place this heater near flammable materials, surfaces or substances, as there may be a
risk of fire. Keep the above flammable materials, surfaces or substances at least 1m from the
front of the product and keep them away from the sides and rear." So with wood being combustible I would not advise putting this on a wood surface. I hope this helps and thanks for getting in touch.

Delivery Info

Free 1 Man Delivery – For Full Details Please See Delivery Information

Our "Free Delivery" is a one-man service. The goods will arrive on a lorry that is about the size of a fire engine. (Please let us know in advance if you have restricted access or other local issues that could affect delivery).

The lorry has a tail lift that allows the driver to get the item(s) off the vehicle. The order will be packed and secured onto a pallet and the driver will have a pallet truck. He'll be able to wheel this as close as possible to your property. The pallet truck can only be wheeled over a finished surface so it's not possible to wheel it over a gravelled drive, steps, steep slopes for example. The pallets are normally about 1m wide so this is the minimum width gate they can fit through. Please note that the driver is not insured to unpack or carry the item(s) into your house.

Fitting Kits and Liner Packs might arrive separately by courier delivery on the same day unless specified/requested in advance. An email confirmation will be sent if this is the case.

If the goods are showing 48hr delivery, then this is the quickest time we're able to deliver these items (We do not deliver at weekends). You'll be asked to select a delivery date when purchasing the goods. Please note that if you live offshore these dates do not apply as it will take us slightly longer to get the goods to you and we will contact you directly.

Please note that it is an all-day delivery service which is generally from 9 am – 6 pm Monday to Friday. Delivery Depots, if they have the facility, will text in advance but as the vans do multiple runs a day you might not receive a text until the afternoon if this service is available.

Due to current pallet network pressures mainly due to driver shortages we cannot guarantee delivery on your chosen day but will do our best to communicate this as soon as we are made aware by the carriers.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE STRONGLY ADVISE THAT YOU DO NOT BOOK ANY CONTRACTORS, PLUMBER’S, OR FITTERS UNTIL YOU HAVE RECEIVED YOUR GOODS AS UNEXPECTED DELAYS CAN OCCUR.
