Hunter Stoves has announced opening of its brand new head office and distribution centre in the Exeter Business Park just off junction 29 of the M5 motorway in Devon. The building has undergone a full refurbishment for Hunter Stoves, and comprises two levels of office space, a large reception area and facilities to accommodate the company’s buying and procurement department, management accounts office and in-house sales team.
Alongside the new offices there is also their new distribution centre, a 18,500 sq ft warehouse with capacity for 5000 stoves plus accessories, consumables and spares for all the Hunter Stoves brands; Di-lusso, Avalon, Parkray, Eco-Ideal, Cleanburn and of course Hunter. In addition Hunter have recruited a quality control team based within the warehouse to ensure all products are in top quality condition when they are despatched.

This company expansion has freed space at Hunter’s Camelford site where it can be better utilised to concentrate on manufacturing, research and design.
Production manager Dan Witson said: “…we are now able to put into place the plan to significantly expand our manufacturing capacities and have a production team able to produce the finest quality products and to support the anticipated uplift in the sales for our growing export market and here in the UK.“.
Hunters team of design engineers will continue to develop new innovative products at their state of the art development facility in Cornwall, where they develop and test stoves above the current standards for CE marking, DEFRA approval and even NS ( Norwegian Standards) approval.
