Aside from complying with the Building Regulations for minimum height of the flue above the roof, is there a minimum recommended length for a conventional flue for a gas stove? I know that a woodburning stove requires a minimum length of about 4.5 metres to get enough draw but is there any restriction for a gas stove?
Thank you for your question.
For maximum efficiency and draw we recommend a gas stove to have approx 4.5 metres of flue, the same as a wood burning stove.
Hope this helps?
