In one of the questions below you refer to a 'wood burning kit', but this stove is described as a "multi-fuel" stove - so can I assume that means coal (smokeless) and wood without a kit and that the kit just helps the wood burning efficiency?

That's correct, the wood burning kit allows your stove to burn wood more efficiently.
Wood prefers to sit on a solid base with an air supply around it whereas coal prefers to have an air supply from below.
If you are going to primarily use the stove with wood then the kit is a good idea.
If you are going to use both or primarily use coal, then the multifuel grate is sufficient.
