Does this CHARNWOOD ISLAND THREE DEFRA APPROVED STOVE £2,374.80 use an airwash system? How does it compare to similar stoves - the windows look larger than most which I like? Just for wood burning?
Thank you for your questions.
The Charnwood Island 3 stove is a very good choice, it's a multifuel stove and so burns either wood or solid fuel.
It has Charnwood's converting grate which is controlled by operating a lever on the side of the stove which sets a series of grate bars into a closed, flat bed position (the most efficient way to burn wood) or to an open grate for ultra efficient burning of smokeless fuels.
The Island 3 also has Charnwood's Clean Burn Air Wash system which reduces emissions and ash deposits and delivers even more warmth to your room and, of course, helps to keep the glass clean and clear.
Hope this helps?
