Fenix 70 Flat Inset Woodburning Stove From Saey
The big logs are placed on the bottom of the hearth, the smaller finer wood on it and on top the kindling wood. The reverse combustion process means the fire is lit upside down. The Fenix 70 is equipped with a Airwash system for a clean window, and a silent fan for the ideal transmission of heat into the room. The stove is constructed with a twin walled steel plate boxwood and the combustion chamber lined with vermiculite firestones.

Due to an update to Building Regulations it is now law to have a Carbon Monoxide alarm present in any room with a solid fuel appliance:- The Building Regulations 2000 Approved Document J (2010 Edition) '2.34 Where a new or replacement fixed solid fuel appliance is installed in the dwelling, a carbon monoxide alarm should be provided in the room where the appliance is located.'
A registration plate is used to seal the chimney opening off from the room preventing dust, soot, dirt and debris falling down the chimney. It also helps to prevent a draft coming down the chimney. We supply a standard 1000mm - 500mm galvanised steel register plate with all our stoves. You will simply need to cut the plate to size to fit into your chimney opening.
