Choosing the right stove is important and as much as appearance and physical size matter. Making sure that the stove you choose is going to heat the room sufficiently or not over heat the room is equally as important. Having a 10kw stove in a room where you only need a 5kw stove would simply over heat the room and inevitably put you off using the stove and like wise having a 5kw stove when you really need an 8kw stove would mean that you would never fully benefit from the cost of buying and fitting your stove.

Here we have conveniently broken the stoves down into heat output categories making it easy to narrow your choose down. To calculate the heat output required simply work the cubic area of your room out and divide by 15. (Width x depth x height / 15)
